Laura Lee Waldrip Smith, LMT 1132 MABLH, earned her licensure for massage therapy through Natural Healing Arts School of Massage in Tupelo, MS. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2007 and has been an instructor of massage therapy since 2011. Lee is an instructor of the day classes offered at WCTM where she teaches Anatomy, Massage Theory & Practicum, Allied Modalities, and Clinic.
Lee loves her job as a massage therapist because she sees how massage/touch makes people better without medicine. In the classroom, she enjoys watching the students realize how important it is to know how the body functions. She advises students: “Be prepared to learn things about yourself you never realized were possible, as well as find the potential within yourself.”
Lee grew up in Saltillo and graduated from Saltillo High School. She is now married to Ryan Smith and has three daughters. She works as an LMT at Waldrip Center for Therapeutic Massage.
